Under a constrained budget for a trade association’s offices in the historic Civic Opera House, Aptus worked closely with the tenant to address their current critical needs for a dedicated kitchen / pantry and provisions for a proper conference room.
Aptus located the conference room in the corner of the building, both to keep it away from guests or visitor sightless as they entered the suite, but also to capitalize on the views from the 35th floor of this historic building along the Chicago River. Making a provision for a full kitchenette also addressed a long standing need of the tenant for coffee, snack and break room activities. Aptus engaged with the tenant and the contractor to keep the project under the budget.
