Desert Sage School

Las Vegas has long been ranked as one of the country’s fastest-growing regions, creating meaningful opportunities for forward-thinking pedagogies. An alliance of teachers engaged Aptus to program and design an innovative pre-K to 4th grade campus based on the Reggio Emilia approach – which focuses on “embracing nature as an extension of the classroom” with an eco-friendly curriculum and self-directed, experiential learning. Desert Sage’s goal was to be the area’s most progressive preschool/lower school in the Las Vegas Valley, and eventually the southwestern U.S.
