Solterra Lofts
Solterra Lofts is a model for a more integrated, livable scale of mixed-use design for a high-rise residential and commercial tower. The design, complementing existing architecture and new towers in the downtown neighborhood, included commercial retail space and a residential lobby on the first floor, an integrated parking garage from floors one through three and nine floors of residential units. There was also an amenity deck on top of the parking structure as well as a community room for residential use. Each residential floor also contained storage units. The planned exterior construction of the high-rise was prefabricated panels integrated into the design, with a material palette consisting of stone, concrete, brick, limestone and glass.
