The BASE Clubhouse and Learning Center

Founded in Boston, The BASE combines exceptional baseball and softball training and competition with academic/STEM tutoring, career resources, violence prevention, life skills and healthy lifestyle guidance to empower urban student athletes to achieve their full potential both on and off the field. Aptus is helping The BASE to bring those programs to a new facility on the west side of Chicago. Establishing a space on the West Lawndale neighborhood, the program will include classrooms, lounges and offices, as well as practice areas for hitting, fielding and pitching. The project will serve as a beacon hope and safe environment for youth in communities where that is sorely needed.
