Good work for good clients, all produced in a good studio atmosphere on a good team camaraderie.

It seemed the appropriate blend of art (drawing / aesthetics), science (engineering / math), and graphical communication. The constant variation of problems to be solved is also appealing.

I would probably say “Sketch” because I like drawings / doodling. But sometimes it’s worth thinking about how one would write an algorithm that could automate the process, because that would force you to consider all the contributing factors and how they affect the shape or design.

Into the past just before major things disappeared: dinosaurs, early civilizations like Egypt (the great pyramids as originally built, the library at Alexandria), Greece, Rome, China, Japan. Or into the future, to see how things will change in 500 years.
