What stood out to me most about Aptus was the genuine sense of community. The culture here is team-oriented and family-driven, where support and collaboration are part of how people naturally work together. Not being originally from Las Vegas, I also appreciate how Aptus embraces the city’s unique culture and contributes to it in a way that feels both enriching and authentic, enhancing its identity.

When I was young, I built an entire Lego city using random hand-me-down pieces from my older brothers. It eventually took over my entire bedroom floor for months. I didn't know what an architect was at the time, but I knew it was what I wanted to do when I grew up.

Growing up, my family was always building or renovating something. I remember when I was young, helping my stepdad design a pool and extension to our house. I loved imagining endless possibilities and then watching those ideas come to life, becoming part of the space we lived in. That home now holds so many memories, especially in the spaces we created together. It made me realize how powerful design can be in shaping not just structures, but the moments and memories people carry with them.

My biggest inspiration is nature. As someone who loves being outdoors, I’m constantly reminded of how much intention and beauty exists in the natural world. There’s always something to learn and gain from it.

Anywhere with a body of water. Bonus points if its an ocean, preferrably somewhere tropical.
